      
NEDAC began operation in September 2007 for the primary business purpose of providing quality specimen collections for drug testing to those organizations regulated by federally mandated programs. Since that time NEDAC has expanded its services to include all the components of federally mandated programs as well as programs specifically tailored to the needs of non-mandated private companies. We are compliant with very stringent and precise Federal Drug Administration (FDA) regulations which included Chain-of-Custody for specimen collection.
NEDAC also offers other services, which are of great benefit to employers. We develop drug and alcohol policies for clients that meet DOT regulations. Additionally, we offer DNA paternity and genetic testing, hair testing for drugs, employee education and supervisor training programs which are required under DOT regulations and of great benefit to non-DOT regulated firms. Plus, we offer background checks which can include various services such as criminal background checks, drivers license and driving records checks, credit checks, social security verification, education verification, and previous employer checks. Another new and exciting area of service is psychological testing to help determine certain pre-dispositions and suitability of the prospective employee for the job.

North Eastern Drug and Alcohol Collections, LLC (NEDAC) has been providing full service drug and alcohol testing programs to companies in the greater New York Metropolitan area since 2007. The Corporate philosophy of NEDAC encompasses the sensitivity, serious nature and potential repercussions of drug and alcohol testing at a level which far exceeds the practices generally followed in this field today. NEDAC' standards, policies and procedures are those set forth by the Department of Health and Human Services/Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (DHHS/SAMHSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) and are adhered to by NEDAC for all its clients, whether they are federally regulated or have initiated drug testing on their own. All NEDAC staff members are trained in and committed to this high standard of excellence. NEDAC participates in continuing education programs designed to keep our entire staff current on changing Federal regulations. In addition, we assist employers in the education of their work force on the dangers of drugs in the workplace and successful integration of employee's back into the workplace following rehabilitation.
All NEDAC collectors are certified in drug collections and each is a certified breath alcohol technician.
